In the early 50’s a lot of theaters, cinemas, and churches used to have cry rooms where new moms can take their baby if they become disruptive. People also called it "infant care rooms". To dampen the sound it is designed with soundproof properties. These cry rooms helped people to enjoy their movie time without getting disturbed by a crying child.
