The first ever telephone talk: full story

Everybody knows that the invention patent of the telephone frequently disputed among many people. However, Bell has been credited as the inventor of the first working telephone.


But, Do you know the first-ever sentence spoken on the telephone? "Mr. Watson--come here--I want to see you." These were the first words ever spoken on the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell on March 10, 1876, to his assistant Mr. Watson.



Bell's first telephone call got so famous, In 1915 in the formal opening of the completed transcontinental telephone lines connecting America's East and West coasts. Mr. Bell repeated the phrase and said, "Mr. Watson, come here, I want you." But this time Watson replied that “it would take him a week”.
