We all grow up reading the stories of Pinnochio, a guy with the longest nose. But do you know who is the real-life Pinnochio? A 71-year-old man is the Turkish Guinness World Record holder for the longest nose in the world. He continues to hold the record for 11 years.
The longest nose on the living person recorded to a Turkish man called Mehmet Özyürek. The length of the nose is 8.8 cm or 3.46 in from the bridge to the tip. Özyürek's world record was made on the set of Lo Show Dei Record in Rome, Italy, on 18 March 2010. Mehmet Özyürek was born on 17 October 1949. He grew up in Artvin Province, Turkey. He is now 71 years and lives with his wife.
Turkey also holds the title for having the 'tallest female teenager' in the world. Turkey has spectacular geography and it helps its nationals find success in a variety of entertaining and unique categories in the Guinness Book of World Records.
