Cruciferous tree frog, northern cruciferous tree frog, or Pseudacris crucifer is a species of amphibians that are found in the eastern United States and southeastern Canada. They are so-called because of their chirping call that marks the beginning of spring. It dazzles with its beautiful and unique golden-gold color.



They are very tiny in size: not longer than human nails. It's the habitat in a cold place but less than -8 ° C. It can protect itself in logs or behind bark falling from trees. His body is able to freeze some of his bodily fluids. It feeds on beetles, ants, Diptera, and spiders.
