Cockroach milk: They call it superfood

Health-conscious people always quest to find a protein substitute: the more the better. Well, cockroach milk is on top of that substitute list of protein. According to some food Scientists, it contains both protein crystals and amino acids. Basically, it has all the essential nutritional elements. However, there no scientific research that proves cockroach milk is an adequate dairy-milk alternative for humans.


Moreover, not all cockroach species are able to produce cockroach milk. It's produced by a specific type of female cockroach called Diploptera punctata. When it gives birth to live offspring. Like any other species, they also serve their milk as food to their developing young.
