According to multiple studies, couples are most likely to break up in the spring season, which starts on 20th or 21st March. The spring months signal the beginning of “uncuffing season”, i.e. the time of the year when relationships formed during the cold solitary winter months come to an end. Studies also indicate that the lowest breakup time was Christmas Day and from August through October.
Urban Dictionary defines "uncuffing season" as: “Usually during the spring and summer months when people who were previously in relationships during the winter break-up with their girlfriend or boyfriend to be free for the summer and warm months so you can play the field and not be tied down.”
Interestingly, the term “spring fever” refers to both psychological and physiological symptoms associated with the arrival of the spring. This includes restlessness, daydreaming and increased sexual appetite. While the exact cause is still unclear, but scientists think that increased light, more exercise and more bare skin influence hormone levels.
According to the National Association of Realtors, the spring season is the most successful season to sell/buy a house. Buyers are usually doubtful to move during the winter as the weather is colder and children are in school. So, there are lots of houses to choose from in the spring, this increases the price of the houses.
