The first known account of Annabelle in the real-world is when it had been purchased at a hobby story by Donna's mother in 1970. She gave it to her daughter, Donna, a nurse. Not long after, Donna and her roommate realized that something is wrong with that doll. They decided to take the help of a medium.
The medium told them that spirit of Annabelle Higgins was inside the doll and she died during a car accident. she also said the place where Annabelle died and that place was not too far away from Donna's home. The demonologists realized that an evil power was terrorizing Donna and her roommate.
There’s been tons of debates and skepticism about Annabelle’s powers. The doll remains at the Warren residence, in their now-closed ‘Occult Museum.’ Since being contained, Annabelle has been linked to at least one death – when a rowdy biker goaded and mocked the doll, only to die during a bike crash hours later.
