Made-up story of symbolizing Qajar dynasty Princess as a beauty icon

Updated: Mar 18, 2021

She was a princess of the Qajar Dynasty. She was the daughter of Naser al-Din Shah, she was the daughter of Persian king Naser-al-din shah. A lot of you know this lady as meme material.

The meme claims that. “she was the beauty symbol in 19’s and 13 men committed suicide because she rejected their proposal.”

Apparently, every aspect of this meme claims not even near to reality. First of all, the memester introduced her as princess Qajar but non of the princesses of Persia named Qajar. they were princesses of the Persian Qajar dynasty and the name was Princess Zahra Khanom Tadj es-Saltaneh.

There’s no such evidence in history that indicates the claim to be true. 13 men, the suicidal story is sound so made-up Because she got married at the age of 13. The marriage was very likely arranged while she was living among the women of her father’s harem. It seems highly unlikely that she had the opportunity to meet any man.

Unlike the meme statement, she was smart and outspoken. She was a feminist and a groundbreaker for women's rights in Persia.
