Black Frog breviceps fuscus that looks like an angry avacado

There is a black frog that looks like an angry avocado who gives an incredibly cute cry, and this frowning frog isn't exactly sad or angry. It’s just the appearance of the black frog breviceps fuscus.

The species occurs only on the southern slopes of the Cape Fold Belt in South Africa, at elevations up to over 1000 meters. Since the black frog is a burrowing species, it inhabits fynbos and forest edges and does not even need the presence of open water!
