what would you think if I say I have tarantula on the dinner table. you might start imagining a creepy poisonous monster crawling on the dinner table. most of us are scared of tarantula but not everyone else. some people love tarantulas. exactly how you love your fries. yes, people around the world like to have that poisonous hairy monster tarantula as a crunchy snack. you can buy them from street vendors in Skuon, Cambodia.

They were first discovered to be edible by starving Cambodians in the bloody, brutal days of the Khmer Rouge rule. people used to fry them whole. They’re crispy on the outside with a gooey body on the inside. sometimes they use seasoning or thin batter to make them even crispier.
